Artists need community. Without it, it can be harder to motivate, more difficult to overcome stagnation and less likely that essential stories get told. Community is oxygen for the artist.

The Collective exists to create a space for performing artists to connect, inspire one another and contribute to a network of talents who initiate, develop and share stories. The focus is on the creative process itself and, through regular engagement, we take incremental action to move ideas out of the head and onto the page, the stage and the screen. It is not about the product or the form the story takes. It is about feeding the essential nature of artists—to create by any means necessary. And to do so habitually.

The Collective’s legacy will be built on the expanding community of artists who got themselves unstuck.
